PASIR GUDANG (Malaysia): Fire broke out at a petrochemical plant at the Tanjung Langsat Industrial Complex here this afternoon.
A Johor Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the department received an emergency call regarding a fire at the Titan Himont Petrochemical plant at 5.16 pm.
"Thirty eight firemen from the Pasir Gudang, Larkin and Johor Jaya fire stations were despatched to the scene where efforts to put out the fire are ongoing," the spokesman said in a statement.
He added the department had yet to determine which part of the plant was on fire.
