Safety Protective Systems

There should be little doubt that the need for protecting People and Assets was recognised as early as the advent of Industrialisation some two centuries ago.

The recurring ravages of frequent industrial accidents with ever increasing toll provided the much needed attention to Health & Safety and the impetus for the application of emerging technologies to Protection.

Today, Protective Systems as a whole have grown into distinct branches of science, technology and the academia. This has paved the way for H&S solutions to be engineered with increasing speed, application and reliability.

Some noteworthy examples are in the realms of Explosion Suppression, Gas & Fire Detection, Fire protection and Emergency Process Shutdown.
