Safe work practices

Successfully conducting day-to-day activities in industrial operations to proceed without H&S incidents requires clear understanding across the organisation as to how a given work or task is executed. All parties and personnel should have an unambiguous appreciation of the methodology and tools to be employed, the risks involved in the process; and the preventive and protective measures to be observed.

Thanks to our progenitors who have amassed a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise before our times. It’s generally a matter of adapting, adopting and building on them to suit our times and needs. Some of these have actually evolved into continuing safe practices and systems such as Permit-To-Work, Lock-Out/Tag-Out and Incident & Injury Reporting.
